• Telescope: Takahashi FS-152 f/8 fluorite refractor at f/28 using 20mm eyepiece projection
• Zeiss II German Equatorial Mount
• Santa Barbara Instrument Group ST-8E NABG CCD camera (1530 x 1020 pixels, 9 x 9mm, monochromatic, 16 bit, 13.8 x 9.2mm array)
• CWF8 color filter wheel with IR-blocking red, green and blue dichroic filters

• Date: Saturday, June 9, 2001
• Location: Charlton Flats, CA
• Elevation: Approx. 5300', OAT +50F
• Exposures: 0.2 seconds, 10 each through red, green and blue filters.
• Mars apparent diameter: 20.3 arc-seconds
• Raw image scale: 0.43 arc-seconds/pixel. EFL=4300mm. Final image resampled 2x in Photoshop.
